Proxy Ballot Votes - Due Today!!
The next Governing Board Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada).
The meeting will be held virtually via the Zoom Web Platform ( www.zoom.us ) At this time there is one item up for vote.
A working committee was formed to evaluate the format of the NAs. Thank you to NAs VP Joe Starck, '24 NAs Chair Debbie Probst, Jason Lutz, Past President Bill Bogardus and many others that gave input. Their work columnated in a proposed Temporary Amendment to the Document Governing All Sanctioned Lightning Class Championships, Articles Which Specifically Apply to the North American Championship - Article XIII Racing Conditions. The Executive Committee stands behind the work of the committee and is in favor of this amendment. Click on the link below to review the Temporary Amendment.
As a Governing Board Member (Executive Committee, Vice President or District Commodore), we hope you will be in attendance at the meeting. If you will not be please vote by Proxy Ballot or name a designated representative to act on your behalf. Please return your proxy ballot by Monday, March 4th. You will have the opportunity to change your vote up until the final call during the meeting.
You will need to REGISTER IN ADVANCE for the meeting. Once you register you will then be emailed a meeting id and link to attend.
If you have any trouble registering for the meeting please let me know and I'll walk you through the process.

The agenda and meeting reports will be sent out a few days prior to the meeting. With the meeting be held virtually, it will be a lot easier and more efficient if Vice Presidents and District Commodores could send in a short report updating the group on what is happening in your area. Please submit reports ASAP.
Reports can be short and simple, or more detailed.
If you are no longer a District Commodore please let me know as soon as possible so I can update the database and get the invitation out to the new representative.
