My name is Caroline Hall. I was born and raised in Brick, New Jersey. I grew up sailing on the Barnegat Bay at the Metedeconk River Yacht Club. I started sailing at the age of eight in the Metedeconk River Yacht Club junior program and continued with the program through 420s and the advanced Lightning course with Jim Carson. 

I learned most of what I know about Lightnings over the years from sailing with Keith Taboada and Russ Schon. I was part of the Monsignor Donovan High School sailing team from 2004-2008. During my time at MDHS, the team attended the ISSA Fleet Racing National Championship in Long Beach, California.

I am currently a senior at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Kinesiology, with hopes to become a physical therapist. I am a member of the URI sailing team, competing at both women’s and co-ed events. Last spring I was the A-Division Crew for our women’s team that won the 2011 Sperry Topsider Women’s ICSA National Dinghy Championship. I was also apart of our co-ed team that was able to qualify for nationals for the first time in nearly thirty years. This past fall I was apart of our women’s team that took second at the Women’s Atlantic Coast Championship. When I am not sailing, I love photography and traveling, I am always up for an adventure!
